Needed features regarding tip and receipt

Hi JIM Team,

I'm a taxi service owner using JIM for my business, and I'd like to strongly recommend adding a post-charge tip and receipt flow similar to what Square offers.

Here's how Square does it, and why it works so well:

1. Merchant charges the card
2. A tip selection screen appears (preset percentages + custom + no tip)
3. A receipt screen appears where the customer can enter their email/phone to receive a copy

The genius of this flow is the **receipt screen acts as social cover**. As a merchant, I never have to say "would you like to add a tip?" I simply hand the phone to the customer and say "enter your email for the receipt." The tip screen appears first, and the customer makes their choice privately. No awkwardness, no solicitation — and tips go up because the customer decides on their own terms.

For service-based businesses like mine (taxi/transportation), tips are a significant part of driver income. The current lack of a tip option on both Tap to Pay and Payment Links is a real gap. I've had to consider workarounds like creating separate payment links with tip amounts baked in, which is clunky and unprofessional compared to a seamless in-app flow.

This feature would benefit any merchant where tips matter — taxi, rideshare, food delivery, barbers, personal trainers, caterers, and more. Square has proven this model works. It's clean, it's respectful, and it drives more revenue for your merchants.

I'd love to see this prioritized. Happy to discuss further.

Thank you,
Dave
